About the Role
As the holiday season approaches, Bloom & Flourish is preparing to bring festive, high-impact décor to commercial spaces across Denver. This is a hands-on, entry-level position for someone who enjoys crafting, working with materials, and seeing a project come together from start to finish.
The Holiday Décor Production & Installation Assistant will help produce, assemble, and install prop items, wreaths, garlands, ornamented trees, centerpieces, and other decorative elements for commercial clients. All designs and installation plans are determined in advance, so professional design experience is not required. Our team will provide training, visual guides, and clear project instructions.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable with physical work, and able to follow detailed directions while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship. This is a seasonal role, starting in August of 2026 and ending December 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Holiday Production & Crafting
- Fabricate and Assemble holiday décor elements including wreaths, garlands, centerpieces, props and trees
- Follow predetermined design guides and mood boards to ensure visual consistency
- Use tools like hot glue guns, paint guns, floral wire, drills, and ladders to complete builds
- Assist in prepping or organizing ornament kits and decorative materials
- Complete repetitive production tasks carefully and efficiently
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized production and staging areas
- Identify and communicate damaged materials, shortages, or project concerns to the appropriate team member
Project Prep & Packaging
- Label and package completed décor items for transport
- Organize staging areas by project, keeping materials clean, sorted, and secure
- Communicate material shortages or issues to the operations or design team
- Handle fragile and completed décor with care
- Help maintain organized inventory and storage areas
- Assist with general studio and warehouse cleanup as needed
Install Support
- Load and unload holiday décor, tools, ladders, and installation materials
- Travel to commercial job sites throughout the Denver area
- Assist with assembling, placing, securing, and styling holiday décor
- Help install trees, wreaths, garlands, ornaments, lighting, and decorative accents
- Follow installation plans and direction from the project lead
- Make minor adjustments to décor to ensure displays match the approved design
- Handle client property, furnishings, and finished spaces with care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
- Assist with collecting tools, packaging, and unused materials after installations
Skills & Attributes

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Remain on their feet for extended periods
- Comfortable using hand tools and working in a warehouse or studio setting
- May involve bending/kneeling for crafting tasks
- Comfort with climbing ladders ranging from 10 to 16 feet.
- Valid drivers license with a reliable vehicle to drive to and from a job site.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving large or awkward décor pieces
- Work safely around tools, electrical lighting, packaging materials, and installation equipment

Transportation Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required
- Reliable transportation is required for travel to the Bloom & Flourish studio and assigned job sites
- Candidates must be comfortable traveling to different commercial locations throughout the Denver area

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 32–40 hours per week, with occasional weekend availability
Depending on business needs and individual performance, there may be an opportunity to be rehired for the holiday takedown season after the holidays. Additional employment is not guaranteed.
