Overview
A Child's Place is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teacher to support our classrooms. This role will primarily focus on supporting a lead teacher in a classroom of one-year-old children. The desired schedule is either 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm Monday-Friday with a one hour lunch break. In this role, you’ll be a consistent caregiver for all of our one year-olds, follow established daily routines, and foster a nurturing, positive environment for young learners. Ideal candidates are passionate about early childhood education, understand child development, and can confidently support classroom management. Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- A valid fingerprint clearance card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- The skills to create a structured, positive learning environment, manage behavior, and enforce rules in a way that fosters social-emotional development
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
