The person in this role must live on campus or be located in Erie, PA, as they will regularly capture in-person content from daily school life, athletics, events, and travel.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content Creation & Social Media

- Optimize content for each platform (format, length, thumbnails, tags, captions, music, trends) to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages across platforms in a timely, professional, and mission-aligned manner, representing EPA’s Christian values in all public interactions.
Marketing, Yearbook, and Campus Involvement
- Assist with broader marketing initiatives, including print pieces, email campaigns, website content, advertisements, and promotional materials in collaboration with leadership.
- Support the creation and production of the school yearbook, including photography, story gathering, layout input, and collaboration with students and staff.
- Teach or co-teach one credit of media-related courses or electives (e.g., Digital Media, Social Media Storytelling, Content Creation, Communications), depending on qualifications and schedule.
- Mentor and guide students interested in media, marketing, photography, or video through clubs, workshops, or a student media team.
- Help coordinate and cover key school events (open houses, recruiting events, graduations, tournaments, chapels, community events) from a marketing and communications perspective.
Mission, Brand, and Strategy
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure all messaging and visuals align with EPA’s Christ-centered mission, core values, and brand standards.
- Maintain a strategic content calendar that supports enrollment, development, athletics, and overall school visibility, reflecting EPA’s emphasis on holistic student development.
- Use analytics and insights (platform metrics, engagement data) to refine content strategy and grow EPA’s online presence in a thoughtful, sustainable way.
