Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Labor Worker / Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with fence installation projects, handling building materials, and supporting various construction tasks on outdoor sites. Your energy and attention to safety will help ensure efficient project completion while maintaining high standards of quality. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction, carpentry, and outdoor work environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of fences, including setting posts, attaching panels, and ensuring proper alignment according to construction plans
- Handle and transport building materials such as wood, metal, concrete, and landscaping supplies safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and secure fencing components and other building materials
- Perform heavy lifting tasks required for moving materials and equipment on-site while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all phases of outdoor construction work to prevent accidents and injuries
Qualifications
- CAN NOT BE A FELON
- Previous experience in construction or fencing installation is highly preferred (HOURLY PAY COULD POSSIBLY INCREASE IS IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCED)
- Knowledge of carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, or hardscape work is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and construction machinery
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor labor for extended periods
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction site work and power tool use
- Excellent teamwork skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with clients or team members
- Valid experience in outdoor work environments including landscape maintenance or concrete finishing is advantageous
