,Job Opportunity: Wood Production Worker
People Plus is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join a local manufacturing team as a Wood Production Worker.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Pay: Starts at $14 an hour then raises every 30 days until reaching $16 an hour by 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Perform machining, assembly, sanding, and finishing of wood components
- Operate woodworking machinery and power tools such as table saws, band saws, planers, jointers, sanders, and routers
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood parts according to drawings, templates, and work orders
- Sand, finish, glue, and fasten parts to meet quality and appearance specifications
- Inspect finished pieces for defects and take corrective actions or report issues
- Maintain accurate production records and document completed work
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and staging finished products for shipping
- Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
