We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial interior design projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a highly organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has extensive experience managing the technical execution of interior design projects.
This is not a construction project management position.
Candidates must have significant experience managing commercial interior design projects, including construction documentation, specifications, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial interior design projects from programming through completion.
- Develop and oversee project schedules and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary client contact while leading coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Review construction documents, finish schedules, specifications, and drawing packages for quality and accuracy.
- Lead construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawing reviews, site observations, and punch lists.
- Ensure compliance with ADA requirements, applicable codes, and project standards.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Mentor project teams while maintaining exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of project management experience within a commercial interior design or architecture firm.
- Proven experience managing hospitality, multifamily, restaurant, retail, mixed-use, or commercial interior projects.
- Strong expertise in construction documentation, detailing, specifications, and construction administration.
- Thorough knowledge of ADA Accessibility Standards and applicable building codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional leadership, organization, and communication skills.
