Job Summary

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Observation Unit (COU)

Tucson, Arizona 13-Week Assignment

Assignment Details

Position Type: Travel RN
Specialty: RN – EP Lab / Cardiac Observation
Start Date: April 27, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Admit and assess cardiac patients
Prepare patients for procedures (IV starts, charting, access prep)
Assist physicians during exams and procedures
Monitor and recover patients post conscious sedation
Perform and document bedside procedures (TEE & CV)
Administer medications within RN scope of practice
Provide discharge education and complete documentation

Schedule & Call Details

Shift Options: 3x12-hour shifts (Days)
- 0600–1830
- 0700–1930
- 0800–2030
Weekend Call Rotation:
- Approximately every 4–6 weeks
- Saturday: 0700–1700
- Sunday: 0700–1400

Required Qualifications

Active RN license (Arizona or Compact State)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience

Preferred Experience (Considered Case-by-Case)

PACU
ICU
Telemetry
Cath Lab
Surgery Center
