Daytime Canine Enrichment Attendant

What You'll Do
No two days are exactly alike. Your shift may include:
- Supervising group play while maintaining a safe, structured environment
- Reading canine body language and preventing problems before they happen
- Guiding appropriate play using positive reinforcement
- Leading enrichment activities that keep dogs mentally engaged
- Assisting dogs with rest breaks, feeding, and individual care needs
- Cleaning and disinfecting playrooms, kennels, and equipment throughout the day
- Recording meals, medications, behavior notes, and daily report cards
- Working closely with teammates to provide excellent care for every dog
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Enjoys working on their feet in a fast-paced environment
- Stays calm and observant even during busy moments
- Loves learning about dog behavior and communication
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace
- Is dependable, punctual, and ready to help wherever needed
- Has excellent communication skills with coworkers and clients
Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required. We are happy to train motivated individuals who have a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for animal care.
Physical Requirements
This is an active position. Team members should be comfortable:
- Standing and walking for most of the shift
- Frequently bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Working around barking dogs and cleaning animal waste
- Moving quickly while maintaining awareness of their surroundings
- Working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
