Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Fee for Service Therapist, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals, couples and families. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based mental health and behavioral care through individual, group, and family counseling sessions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-specific interventions, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), art therapy, and play therapy tailored to individual client profiles.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health, behavioral health, addiction counseling, relationship concerns and child & youth therapy.
- Collect and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines; ensure timely updates of medical records and progress notes.
- Engage in case management activities such as intake assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and coordination with other healthcare providers or community resources.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and crisis intervention strategies to support clients through challenging situations or emergencies.
- Work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds to deliver culturally competent counseling that respects each client’s unique context.
Experience
- We strongly encourage applications from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) therapists and other clinicians from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Must hold a license as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW or be license eligible.
- Proven experience working with individuals, couples, youth and families in mental health or behavioral health settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, crisis management, conflict resolution, and gender issues counseling.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health assessments and psychotherapy practices.
- Experience conducting data collection for clinical outcomes or program evaluation purposes.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance and medical record management.
