SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the administrative functions of the human resources activities while always practicing confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Orientation – Will assist with any Welcome Week packets as needed with the HR Generalist to ensure new hire candidates get all the information to ensure they have a World Class Start to the Agency. Will serve as a backup to the Director for the HR portion of the Welcome Week as needed.
Recruiting – Will assist HR Recruiting with hiring processes to include screening of applicants, background processes, ensuring systems are kept up to date as well as reaching out to candidates if needed.
Records and Personnel Files Management – Assist with any onboarding of new hires into the system. Audit documentation for accuracy and completion before onboarding into system. Assist with any annual background checks as required in the regulations.
Communication, Data Entry, and Information – Respond to any tickets that are assigned in our AskHR system or emails that receive from any employee, enter data into ADP, spreadsheets and generate reports.
Benefits – Assist as need with any benefit support as needed in the HR Department to include answering questions for employees or during Open Enrollment periods.
Staff Events - Assist with social activities as assigned to the Human Resources Department.
Administrative Support - Work independently and within a team on ongoing and special projects, schedule and organize staff meetings, provide support to Director of HR Department.
Computer Support – Use a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Must be proficient in MS applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Able to learn and gain proficiency in program specific technologies such as ADP.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree from college or technical school; and six months Human Resources related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and skills. Ability to understand and effectively use computers and other office equipment. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record per agency guidelines and proof of auto insurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to use office equipment including computer, fax, copier and a variety of technologies and software.
