Aurora LA, a bakery serving some of LA’s most popular desserts, is looking for career cashiers/counter servers to join their team.
Candidates must be service-oriented, well-spoken, and presentable, with previous experience in sales and service.
Cashiers at Aurora LA have a set schedule but must remain flexible to cover opening or closing shifts as needed.
Duties, skills, and characteristics
- Available to work on weekends.
- Gives exceptional customer service.
- Greets customers.
- Assists customers in their purchase by direct salesmanship.
- Ability to take customer orders in person, by phone, or delivery apps.
- Experience operating a point of sale terminal (POS).
- Remains calm under pressure.
- Learns product details and follows sales processes and operations.
- Brews and serves coffees to order.
- Keeps display and supplies stocked, presentable, and clean.
- Keeps dining area clean and tidy.
- Certified Food Handler or willing to earn/renew Food Handler certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
