Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service at all times
- Lead staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and ongoing skill enhancement in food preparation, POS systems like Aloha and Micros, and food safety protocols
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and financial reconciliations with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Support shift management by coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and maintaining high team morale
- Assist in food production processes such as coffee brewing, cooking, and food presentation to uphold quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong background in food preparation and customer service
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food industry is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage teams effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, shift management, and operational procedures
- Excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and ensure customer satisfaction
