Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and establish rapport to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Explain treatment options clearly, addressing patient questions and concerns
- Coordinate appointment scheduling efficiently to optimize the practice’s workflow
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with financial arrangements
- Prepare treatment plans in collaboration with dentists and ensure patient understanding
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment progress and financial commitments
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and administrative documentation
- Support the dental team by managing administrative tasks related to patient care and billing
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Proficiency in office software and dental practice management systems is a plus
- Experience providing medical administrative support or customer service in a healthcare environment is a plus
- Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
