General Summary: Responsible for the health and safety of our residents, and will be caring for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To foster the mission of St. Louis Center, a faith-based organization, in proclaiming the Gospel through the service of charity.
- Develop, implement and maintain daily living routines in assigned residential programs.
- Monitor client activity; ensuring home and unit security, while providing routine time checks that are essential to daily tasks.
- Complete all required residential program documentation at the end of each shift, and are expected to perform related duties as assigned or as situations dictate.
- Complete all required residential program documentation.
- Develop and Implement client community involvement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid Certification, general fire safety and Crisis Prevention Intervention within first six months.
- Ability to maintain composure in a stressful environment.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Ability to communicate.
- Ability to pass a drug test and physical
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record, able to operate a passenger van preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
