Radley Enterprises LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Bus Mechanic to join our team. We specialize in the school and commercial bus industry, working with multiple bus manufacturers and dealers to prepare new buses for delivery while also providing repair, maintenance, and inspection services for school districts and transportation contractors throughout New York's Capital Region.
As a registered New York State DOT Inspection Facility, we take pride in helping keep passengers safe by ensuring buses meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on school and commercial buses.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and other vehicle systems.
- Prepare new buses for delivery by installing options, completing inspections, and performing quality control checks.
- Complete New York State DOT inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate repair records and communicate findings with management and customers.
- Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations to perform on-site service and repairs.
Qualifications
- Experience working on mid size vehicles, heavy trucks, or buses preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
- Welding, fabrication, electrical, or hydraulic experience is a plus.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
