Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Manager to join our dynamic team at Indian Trails 1 & 2! In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring smooth management, exceptional tenant relations, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Duties
- Manage property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out procedures using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure all units and common areas are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards
- Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts, and provide excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and Section 8 guidelines to promote fair and legal housing practices
- Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping for lease agreements, legal documents, and maintenance logs
- Assist with rent collection, late payment follow-up, and upselling additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction
- Support legal administrative tasks related to contracts, notices, and compliance documentation in accordance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing and facilities management
- Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8 housing programs, Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures
- Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
- Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management and negotiation abilities to foster positive resident relationships
- Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and general administrative tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with tenants, vendors, and team members effectively
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
