Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up garments from customers’ locations, ensuring timely service.
- Assist with garment processing, including garment finishing, pressing, and handling using pressing machines and garment care equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace inside the vehicle and at the facility, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when collecting payments or processing laundry services, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Support garment care operations by assisting with laundry services, dry cleaning processes, and fabric care knowledge application.
- Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery times, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry bags or garments while following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, dry cleaning processes, and laundry services is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate garment care machines such as pressing machines and garment care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing deliveries accurately.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, workspace maintenance, and general cleaning practices to ensure a safe environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
