Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with expertise in drink service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices required
- Previous experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for better understanding of menu items
