PRN Speech Therapist – Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care
New Brighton Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Speech Therapist to join our rehabilitation team serving residents in both skilled nursing and long-term care.
The Speech Therapist will work closely with residents, families, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while enhancing overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy services focused on speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy team members, and families regarding resident progress and goals
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and recommendations
- Maintain productivity standards while delivering high-quality resident-centered care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist license in applicable state
- Skilled nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with the geriatric population

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
