Parts Manager / Scheduler — Commercial Vehicle Collision Shop

About the Role
M4 Collision & Refinish is seeking a detail‑driven, organized Parts Manager / Scheduler with at least 2 years of automotive parts experience. In this role, you’ll manage parts procurement, inventory control, and daily scheduling updates that support our production team. You’ll work closely with technicians, vendors, and fleet customers to keep repairs moving efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full parts lifecycle: sourcing, purchasing, verifying accuracy, tracking deliveries, and maintaining organized inventory
- Verify part numbers, VINs, diagrams, and compatibility before ordering
- Maintain and update the repair schedule based on parts ETA, production meeting decisions, and job progress
- Communicate with suppliers, fleet managers, and internal teams to ensure timely workflow
- Track backorders and proactively resolve delays
- Stage parts for technicians and support job readiness
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, invoices, returns, and inventory adjustments
- Use ERP tools to manage orders, inventory, and workflow updates (required)
- Support warehouse organization and follow basic safety standards
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed for parts handling and storage
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years automotive parts experience (commercial truck parts experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of OEM and aftermarket parts sourcing
- Ability to read and verify VINs, part diagrams, and repair plans
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (required)
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Clear communication skills across technicians, vendors, and customers
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving collision or fleet service environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Preferred (Not Required)
- Commercial truck or fleet service parts experience
- Familiarity with CCC, Mitchell, or other estimating platforms
- QuickBooks experience
- Inventory control or scheduling experience
