A prominent provider of commercial, industrial, and refrigeration HVAC solutions is currently looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to support their operations in the York and Grand Island, Nebraska regions.
In this position, you will manage service, maintenance, and diagnostic tasks for large-tonnage cooling systems, chillers, boilers, building controls, and refrigeration units. You will operate autonomously to resolve technical equipment challenges while providing high-quality service to a wide range of commercial clients.

Pay and Financial Incentives-
Hourly base pay ranging from $34.00 to $40.00, determined by your technical expertise and diagnostic skills.

Work performed on holidays is compensated at double the standard hourly rate.
Performance-Based Rewards-

Operational Details and Territory-
Your primary service area covers a 30-minute radius surrounding York, Nebraska.

Your daily workload will consist of commercial HVAC, industrial cooling, and refrigeration service tasks.

Standard working hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, including a one-hour break for lunch.

You will start your day at the shop, with the possibility of receiving a company vehicle for personal use after one year of service.

Participation in an on-call rotation is required, necessitating a 1-hour response time for weekend emergencies.
Core Responsibilities-
Help ensure optimal system performance by diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment like chillers, boilers, and building controls.

Maintain the functionality of small refrigeration units, including ice machines and commercial coolers, to support client operations.

Conduct routine preventative maintenance and thorough inspections for industrial and commercial facilities.

Resolve complex electrical and mechanical failures to help minimize equipment downtime for our clients.

Provide clear explanations of technical issues and suggested repairs to facility managers and clients.

Keep precise records of all service activities and parts utilized during repairs.

Spot and report potential opportunities for system upgrades or additional service work.

Ensure your assigned vehicle and tools are kept in excellent, professional condition.

Required Qualifications-
At least 2 years of practical experience in HVAC service.

Proven background in commercial or industrial HVAC; residential experience alone is not sufficient.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical components and control systems.

Capacity to manage service calls independently and effectively.

A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
-
Availability to join the on-call rotation with a 1-hour response window.

Residency within 30 minutes of the York, NE area, with Lincoln, NE being an ideal location.

Possession of an EPA 608 Certification, with Universal status preferred.
