Duties
- Provide attentive care for children across various age groups, K-6th graders
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development
- Ensure safety by supervising children at all times and adhering to health and safety protocols
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored caregiving strategies
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and needs
- Collaborate with team members to plan educational activities that align with developmental milestones
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, nannying, daycare settings, or classroom environments
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Strong behavior management skills to foster positive interactions and discipline strategies
- Ability to care for K-6th graders with patience, compassion, and attentiveness
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
