American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a freestanding ED in Round Rock, TX, requiring TNCC and CPI certifications.

Position is based in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) with 35 beds
-
Patient ratios are 4:1 or 3:1
-
Typical cases include trauma, stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation
-
EMR system is Meditech
-
Shift is nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
-
Rotating weekends required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period)
-
No on-call requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Active TX or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale

Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience required; 2 years preferred

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

RNs wear navy scrubs

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
