Overview
SON is seeking dependable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our opening team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The Dishwasher ensures that all wares and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, supporting smooth kitchen operations and an exceptional guest experience.

- Pay: $11 per hour
- Schedule: AM and PM shifts available. Weekend and holiday availability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate dishwashing machines and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and kitchen floors
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and restroom areas as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment preferred
- Familiarity with dishwashing procedures and cleaning operations is a plus
- Understanding of sanitation and safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
Who we are
SON is a new restaurant opening at The Weekender Hotel in San Juan, operating seven days a week and serving brunch and dinner to both hotel guests and the local community. We are building a dynamic, high-standards team focused on delivering exceptional hospitality.
Benefits
We offer $150 in reimbursement for health insurance and $35 in reimbursement for wellness expenses (such as gym memberships, yoga classes, etc.).
Pay: $11.00 per hour
