Fence Installer / Shop Helper
SmartTalent is hiring a Fence Installer / Shop Helper for a well-established fencing company in Marysville, WA. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and like working as part of a team, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.
Location: Marysville, WA
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (or until the day's job is complete)
Pay Rate:
$22-$24/hour DOE

Job Duties:
- Prepare job sites for fence installation
- Install variety of fencing materials, including Custom Cedar, Galvanized Chain-Link, and Ornamental fencing
- Measure, cut, and assemble fencing materials for proper fit
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Dig post holes and set fence posts in concrete
- Move and transport concrete using a wheelbarrow
- Follow work orders and directions from supervisors
- Communicate effectively with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after each job
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of recent experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, or a similar outdoor labor position
- Steel-toed boots required
- Valid Washington State driver's license required (to operate company vehicles upon permanent hire)
- Clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents or moving violations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
