Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile HVAC Technician or Sales professional to join our team! This role combines hands-on technical expertise with proactive sales engagement, ensuring our clients receive top-tier service and solutions for their heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical needs. As an integral part of our team, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems while also identifying opportunities to recommend upgrades or new installations that enhance comfort and efficiency. Duties
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing components.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service visits to residential properties to assess system performance and recommend improvements or replacements.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic instruments to evaluate system health and perform repairs.
- Assist customers by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and available upgrades to promote energy efficiency and cost savings.
- Identify sales opportunities during service calls by assessing client needs for HVAC/R equipment upgrades or new installations.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inventory logs to ensure accurate documentation of all activities.
- Follow safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration, electrical systems, welding procedures, and property maintenance standards.
- Support property maintenance tasks as needed, including appliance repair or general mechanical troubleshooting.
- Drive company vehicles responsibly while maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong mechanical background.
- Familiarity with construction sites or property maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience working with schematics, HVAC design plans, plumbing systems, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), and boiler operations.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, heating systems, and related mechanical components.
- Demonstrated ability in equipment repair using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus.
- Previous field service experience involving appliance repair or property maintenance is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
