We are seeking motivated animal lovers to join our team at Cedar Run! This role combines front desk reception and hands-on animal care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you're looking to start a career in the pet industry, this is a great opportunity with room for growth.
Position Details
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Only please apply to the other positions if you want other hours!
- Schedule: Full-time (must be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays; at least one weekend day required)
- Compensation: Starting wage varies based on experience, availability, and employment status
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage front desk operations (phone calls, emails, check-in/check-out)
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby/workspace
- Clean and sanitize kennels
- Supervise animal playtime and interactions
- Prepare meals for boarding animals
- Laundry and dishwashing duties
- Provide care for cats in the kennel area
- Feed and administer medications to boarding animals
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous animal care experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a team environment and taking direction
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors
