Duties
- Perform a wide range of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Apply advanced treatments including cuticle care, nail strengthening, and nail extensions like hair extensions or eyelash extensions when applicable
- Educate clients on proper nail maintenance, aftercare routines, and product recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, or body waxing products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques, and esthetic laser treatments to provide innovative services
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and ensure their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm
Experience
- Proven experience as a manicurist or nail technician in a busy salon or spa environment
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, color theory, and sanitation protocols
- Excellent communication skills to engage clients confidently and provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic understanding of retail math for managing product sales and inventory management is advantageous
