Overview
We are looking for a Strategic Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO, driving organizational excellence and ensuring seamless execution of high-level initiatives. Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic guidance and facilitating effective decision-making across the leadership team.
- Serve as the organization Integrator opposite the CEO (Visionary), owning the Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO), company scorecard, quarterly rocks, and Level 10 meeting cadence within our EOS operating system.
- Lead cross-functional projects that align with organization's strategic objectives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
- Identify, manage, and report on grant opportunities; build and maintain relationships with funders and foundations whose priorities align with our mission.
- Prepare board materials, take minutes, coordinate meeting logistics, and track action items to completion.
- Coordinate all-staff meetings, including agendas, slides, meal coordination, scribing, and follow-through on action items.
- Manage the CEO's calendar, priorities, and communications to optimize focus on high-impact initiatives; draft executive communications, briefings, and decision memos.
- Drive process improvements across departments by analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending practical solutions.
- Co-lead major corporate-wide events
- Oversee mail, supplies, and the day-to-day running of the CEO's office and administrative hub.
- Facilitate communication between executive leadership and operating teams, ensuring alignment on key priorities and initiatives.
Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy, Integrator, or senior executive support role, with a track record of leading cross-functional projects.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership qualities that inspire collaboration and motivate teams toward shared goals.
- Expertise in project management methodologies to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in healthcare or mission-driven nonprofit settings strongly preferred; EOS (Ninety, Traction) experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or Nonprofit Management preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels — from front-line staff to board members and funders — with the discretion and judgment to represent the CEO well. Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
