Responsibilities
- Manage automotive parts inventory using advanced order management systems and ERP platforms to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track shipments, handle shipping & receiving processes, and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, procurement activities, and demand planning data within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
- Assist with warehouse management tasks such as organizing storage areas, conducting stock counts, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Support automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems troubleshooting by providing the correct parts needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by accurately processing orders, answering inquiries related to automotive parts and accessories, and providing technical support when necessary.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing, and inventory control practices within a dealership or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in supply chain management principles, including procurement management, demand planning, logistics inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar order management platforms; familiarity with CMMS is a plus.
- Skilled in data entry with high attention to detail for maintaining precise records of inventory transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with dealership experience or automotive service background to support client needs effectively.
