Experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Full-Time or Part-Time

Our established, privately owned general dental practice is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to become a valued member of our team. We are seeking someone who is confident, dependable, takes initiative, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong general dentistry background.
What You'll Do
- Assist the doctor during a variety of general dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain excellent infection control standards
- Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Fabricate temporary crowns and perform expanded duties as permitted
- Manage instruments, sterilization, and operatory organization
- Educate patients before and after treatment
- Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient
- Work as a true team player to keep the schedule running efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Minimum of 4 years of recent chairside experience in a general dental practice
- Excellent knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working independently and anticipating the doctor's needs
- Experience with digital x-rays and dental software (Open Dental experience is a plus)
- Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
