We are an established Privately owned General Dental Practice in Westport, CT, we are a PPO and FFS practice environment, offering state of the art technology and premium care for our patients. Looking for a full time Hygienist.
- 1 Hour Appointments & 90 minutes for New patients

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate patient oral areas for signs of oral disease and examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions
- Documents patient medical and dental histories and any chief complaints.
- Follows through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by dentist. Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, Application of Protective Sealants and administering antimicrobial agents such as Arestin.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist
- Active CPR Certification
- Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments
- Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
