American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Weekday and some weekend shifts required

Floating to lower acuity units may be required

Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience

Current certifications: BLS and IV certification required

Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

Travel nursing experience is a plus

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Responsibilities include IV insertion and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, patient education, and collaborative care planning

Ohio fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an assignment — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet urgently upon receipt
