We are a custom fabrication company that builds trade show booths, pop-ups, and scenic fabrication. We are looking for a skilled cabinet maker/carpenter who's bored of building boxes and wants to challenge themselves on the next level. This position is a fun, exciting and challenging one. Not a do the same thing every day all day job. Must be a good problem solver, commutator, and self-motivated.
Ideal candidate qualities..
- able to read build drawings / blueprints
- have their own basic hand tools (drill, impact, tape measure, etc.)
- working knowledge of wood working tools (routers, table saw, band saw, sanders, etc.)
- able to frame out a cabinet / laminate w/ Formica / prep surfaces for paint
- MUST BE ABLE TO LAMINATE FORMICA ON TO WOOD
- attention to detail!! Looking for a finisher, not a rough framer.
- knowledge of plywood's, hardwoods, laminate, MDF, and lumber
- jointer / planner / dovetail abilities a plus but not needed
- cross trained in metal / plastic / painting a plus but not needed
- Must be willing to work Overtime. Normal shop hours are 6am - 2:30pm with most days being 10 hour days and some Saterdays.
