Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Sanitation Technician to join our food production team in Lake City, Georgia. This position is vital to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in our chicken production facility.
Operating in a cold environment during the night shift, this is a highly physical role that requires strength, endurance, and strict adherence to food safety and personal hygiene regulations.
Mandatory Compliance (Pre-Employment)
- Must successfully pass a Background Check.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and clear E-Verify prior to placement.
- Must provide complete documentation for verification purposes.
Qualifications
- Facility Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, machinery, and equipment according to food safety standards.
- Physical Labor: Move heavy machinery pieces, boxes, and buckets as required during the cleaning process.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow all company safety protocols and hygiene rules to prevent cross-contamination.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and debris from the production floor.
- Strict Appearance & Hygiene Rules
As this is a food production facility, all candidates must strictly adhere to the following safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules:
- No face piercings.
- No fake nails or fake eyelashes.
- No accessories/jewelry that could compromise safety or hygiene.
- Beard Policy: Men with beards must wear a protective beard mask/correct protection at all times.
Compensation & Shift Details
- Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 9:00 PM – Until finished
- Location: Lake City, GA
