What you have:
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people, including RBTs, BCBAs, clinic leaders, and families.
- Demonstrated competency in ABA intervention techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in urgent or crisis behavioral situations.
- Must be able to work with children birth to age 21 and families, including those at risk.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy, dynamic clinic environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as behavior intervention plans, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn telehealth platforms and clinic software (deTASO, Microsoft Office 365).
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding dress code.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current, active RBT certification, required.
- Certification must be maintained with no lapses in credentials.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RBT, required; 12 or more months, preferred.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Annual Requirements:
- Pass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA.
- Complete annual renewal through BACB.
- Receive ongoing supervision and comply with BACB's ethics requirements.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing. The employee is regularly required to move including walking, running, jumping, and sitting. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, lift, reach, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
