Our busy and growing Interventional Pain Management private practice is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong medical office experience who enjoys providing outstanding patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for every patient while ensuring the front office operates efficiently. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred, and we offer opportunities for cross-training and career growth within our practice.
ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Registration
- Welcome patients with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Check patients in and out efficiently.
- Register new patients and update demographic and insurance information.
- Verify insurance eligibility and ensure patient information is accurate.
- Obtain required signatures on financial and office policy documents.
Scheduling & Financial Responsibilities
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances in accordance with office policies.
- Accurately document and reconcile all patient payments.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and procedures.
- Coordinate procedure scheduling with the Surgery Center.
Administrative Duties
- Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system.
- Assist physicians and staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Support daily office operations and other front desk responsibilities.
- Adapt to the needs of a growing medical practice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical receptionist or medical front office experience preferred.
- Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Professional appearance, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
