Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation in residential and commercial settings
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures following established safety guidelines and quality standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to ensure optimal results
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and buffing
- Manage manual handling of cleaning supplies and heavy lifting safely to prevent injury
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high standards of quality
- Keep detailed records of completed work and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential, hotel, or commercial environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces such as carpets, floors, countertops, and bathroom fixtures is advantageous
- Experience with cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and other tools is beneficial
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and sanitation products to ensure safe and effective use
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple locations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care
