Project Manager I with our large power and utilities client in Saint Petersburg, FL. This is an 8-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $53.00 - $63.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:
Seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of a plant retirement project at the facility in St. Petersburg, FL. This role will oversee field construction activities, contractor performance, and full project lifecycle delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of plant retirement project execution
- Manage field construction activities and contractor oversight
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular project reporting and status updates
- Monitor EHS compliance and address site incidents
- Ensure contractor adherence to contractual requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of project management experience in construction or industrial environments
- Strong background in field construction oversight
- Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or demolition-related projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with plant retirement or RRE projects (Florida preferred)
- Electrical or power generation background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experience
Work Environment:
- Fully onsite in St. Petersburg, FL
- Combination of field and onsite office work
