Job Summary
Cafe Vanak is looking for a reliable, energetic, and fast-moving Server to join our team in Belmont, MA.
We are a busy Persian restaurant looking for someone who is friendly with guests, works well under pressure, and can stay organized while handling multiple responsibilities.
We value speed, reliability, positive attitude, and teamwork. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are also willing to train the right person who learns quickly and has a strong work ethic.
This is a hands-on position. Our servers work together to take care of guests, maintain the dining area, and keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Learn our menu and confidently answer guest questions
- Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages efficiently
- Manage multiple tables while maintaining good service
- Check on guests and respond quickly to requests
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately
- Bus, clean, and reset tables as part of the team
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Help maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
