Total Compensation: $180k-$215k

What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive, ongoing medical care to a panel of adult patients
- Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Guide patients through treatment recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and age-appropriate preventive screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing using high-value care and evidence-based medicine principles
- Prescribe treatment and medications safely, appropriately, and within scope of licensure
- Refer patients to specialists and consultants when needed
- Lead health promotion and preventive care initiatives
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical documentation, billing, and EMR records
- Deliver culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population, including recent immigrants
- Share night and weekend on-call responsibilities with fellow clinicians
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including pre-visit planning
- Participate in clinic and staff meetings, quality improvement projects, and peer review
- Maintain board certification/eligibility and complete ongoing continuing medical education
- Keep all licenses, DEA registration, and required certifications current
- Uphold all applicable regulations, including HIPAA and mandated reporting requirements
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree, board eligible or board certified
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current, valid New York State medical license
- NY Medicaid credentialing required
- Updated BLS and infection control certifications
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Experience or interest in HIV primary care and LGBTQ+ health a strong plus
- Infectious disease training/board certification or HIV treatment experience strongly preferred
