The Adjunct Instructor will teach classes in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography AAS program, preparing them for ARRT and RDMS certifications. We encourage sonographers with extensive experience to consider teaching as a career option. Our experienced program director will train you on how to teach program core courses, which prepare students for entry-level positions.
Essential Job Duties:
- Deliver approved curriculum developed by MCC through lecture and lab environment.
- Evaluate and document student progress through testing, observations, and assessment of skills.
- Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skill development, and good patient care concepts.

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in allied health sciences or equivalent.
- DMS certifications.
- Knowledge, skills, & abilities.
The instructor should have the following knowledge and practical skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated time management and detail-oriented skills.
- Computer-based skills (i.e., software, analytical, and report writing skills).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet frequently occurring deadlines.
- Ability to develop a professional rapport with diverse college constituents.
