Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all dining needs are met efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' overall experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Uphold company policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- A background in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; training will be provided as needed.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations or inquiries is essential.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
