About the Role
As a Production Team Lead, you will spearhead operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment, focusing on driving efficiency and fostering a culture of safety. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring staff and implementing process improvements to ensure our production goals are consistently met.
Responsibilities-
Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all team members adhere to rigorous safety protocols and compliance standards.

Drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and waste reduction within the production line.

Mentor and coach personnel to enhance technical skills, equipment operation proficiency, and 5S standards.

Coordinate daily production activities to meet scheduling requirements and optimize throughput.

Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve equipment issues and maintain high-quality output.

Manage employee relations and provide guidance on performance, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.

Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Qualifications-
Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations Management.

1-3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and Kanban systems.

Experience navigating labor relations or union environments.
