Vet Near Me by FurWell is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist / Patient and Client Advocate to join our growing team in Downtown Greenville.
This position is much more than answering phones and scheduling appointments. Our reception team is often the very first voice a worried pet parent hears when their dog isn't feeling well or their cat is acting differently, and the very first face our pet parents see when they walk in the door. We believe that experience should be compassionate, helpful, and human.

What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer incoming phone calls and text messages
- Schedule appointments and assist with walk-in patient flow
- Check clients in and out
- Process payments and explain estimates when needed
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate communication between doctors, technicians, and clients
- Help create an exceptional client experience from start to finish
- Support day-to-day hospital operations and administrative tasks
What We're Looking For (Required):
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate during stressful situations
Preferred:
- Minimum 2 years veterinary reception experience
- General veterinary medicine knowledge
- Experience with scheduling software or practice management systems
- Experience in hospitality, medical reception, customer service, or client-facing roles
