Shift: Day and Nights (3x12) or (4x12) | 06:45 – 07:15 AM or PM
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,150 – $2,580
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced IMC Travel RN with a strong background in MS/Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU-level care. Candidate must be comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and capable of floating to similar units as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent acute care RN experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- EMR: Cerner required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes – to like units within scope
- On Call: None
Scheduling & Hours
- Shift: Day Shift (06:45–19:15)
- Options: 3x12
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment
- RTO: Preferably no more than 5 days

- Average Daily Census: 38
- Patient Population: Adult acute care, cardiac/telemetry, stepdown
Required Clinical Skills
Work Settings:

Cardiac & Monitoring:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation & management
- Telemetry monitoring (on-unit & remote)
Cardiovascular:
- Post-MI care
- Pre/Post cardiac cath & angiogram
- Post cardiac surgery
- Sheath removal, TR band
IV Therapy / Lines:
- Central line, PICC, arterial line management
- Peripheral IVs, port access
- Blood product administration
Medication Management:
- Heparin protocols
- Cardiac & vasoactive drips (including titration)
- PCA
Additional Skills:
- Chest tubes (Pleur-evac/Emerson)
- CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, oxygen delivery systems
- Feeding tubes
- Renal failure / pre-post hemodialysis
- Wound care / wound vac
- Isolation precautions
- Surgical drains
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous charge nurse experience
- Teaching hospital background
- Level I Trauma experience
