We are seeking professional, reliable Armed Security Officers to provide safety and protection across multiple medical facilities in Texas. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible security presence, respond calmly and effectively to incidents, follow facility policies and state law, and interact respectfully with patients, staff and visitors in a healthcare environment.

Patrol assigned medical facilities, monitor entrances/exits and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.

Protect patients, staff, visitors and medical assets while maintaining a professional and visible security presence.

Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies, including medical emergencies, workplace violence and active threats.

Enforce facility policies and procedures and comply with all applicable Texas laws and regulations for armed officers.

Conduct safety inspections and report hazards, safety violations or security breaches.

Prepare clear, accurate and timely incident reports documenting unusual or suspicious activity.

Assist with emergency evacuations, lockdowns and other crisis responses.

Maintain firearms proficiency, attend mandatory training and keep certifications current.

Communicate professionally and collaborate with medical staff, internal security leadership, local law enforcement and emergency responders as required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer license (or equivalent) with current firearms certification. Please be prepared to provide license number and proof of certification.

Minimum 2 years of armed security experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Knowledge of Texas security regulations and familiarity with healthcare facility requirements (HIPAA awareness preferred).

Strong observational, decisionmaking and reportwriting skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.

Availability for flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays).

Prior experience working in hospitals, clinics or other medical settings.

Additional certifications in first aid/CPR or emergency response.

Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.

Ability to respond rapidly to incidents (running, climbing stairs, assisting with evacuations).

Must be physically fit to perform duties safely and effectively.

Fulltime. Shift assignments depend on site needs; schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays. Oncall or overtime may be required.
