Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Optometrist to join our team 1-4 days a week. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Your expertise will help improve patients’ quality of life through precise eye examinations, personalized patient care, and education. Hours/days are flexible. This is a great position for someone piecing together various jobs or for someone who wants a lighter schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and overall eye function.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions. Communicate with, and refer to, ophthalmology when necessary.
- Educate patients on eye health, proper use of corrective lenses, contact lens fitting, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records with integrity.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as an Optometrist with current certification to practice in Florida.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with outstanding customer service abilities to foster trust and rapport.
