Duties
- Safely operate a box truck with manual transmission across designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and moving supplies within the facility.
Experience
- Prior experience as a commercial driver or courier with a focus on route driving and delivery operations
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor during interactions with clients
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL B license required
