The Role
This is an evening line cook position. You’ll work across stations, execute food to our standard, and close the kitchen with the same energy you started with. We’re not looking for someone to just fill a spot — we’re looking for someone who adds to the room. Attitude is not optional here. It’s part of the job.
SHIFT DETAILS
- Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:15 PM (restaurant closes at 8:00 PM; close takes approximately 45 minutes)
- Full-time: 5 days per week
- Pay: $17.00 – $20.00/hr based on experience + tip pool participation
What You’ll Do
- Execute food preparation and line cook responsibilities across all evening stations
- Maintain food quality and consistency to Just Q’in’s standard on every plate, every time
- Support your teammates — this is a team kitchen, not a collection of individuals
- Bring positive energy to the shift and help set the tone for the team around you
- Hold the closing routine to standard — kitchen clean, stocked, and ready for the next day
- Communicate clearly and proactively — flag issues before they become problems

- Can stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
